Import of Sold Edge parts does not require defining any parameters. An imported part is inserted in the current document.

When importing from Sold Edge, an associative relation is maintained between the T-FLEX CAD 3D model resulting from the import, and the Sold Edge source model. Whenever the source model is modified, the external model imported in T-FLEX CAD can be updated.

When importing an assembly, a dialog appears that displays the structure of the assembly being imported and the name of the folder in which the resulting files will be created. By default, the assembly is inserted in the current document. However, if an additional flag “Create new document” is set, then a new document will be created for the assembly.
