When working with complex drawings and models, you often need to temporarily hide some 2D or 3D elements, because they obstruct the view, or hamper the perception of the drawing/model. T-FLEX CAD provides convenient set of tools for controlling elements visibility. You can hide/show elements individually, when selecting them one by one, hide/show the whole set of selected elements, automatically hide/show elements of a particular type, show all previously hidden elements at once or invert visibility (i.e. make hidden elements visible and vice versa).
Elements visibility control commands are available:
•in the View toolbar and textual menu
(see Hide/Show Elements by Type and Hide/Show 2D Elements sections).
•in the contextual menu of 3D elements and in the 3D model tree
(see the Hide/Show 3D Elements section).
Moreover, the visibility of elements depends on the visibility of their layer and on the specified levels and intervals of visibility. 3D elements may be not only hidden, but also suppressed.
Parameters of some 3D elements (workplanes, worksurfaces, 3D sections, cameras) include the Show in 3D Window checkbox. If the checkbox is enabled, the visibility of the element in 3D windows can be managed using commands described in this chapter. If the checkbox is disabled, the element is not displayed, and not affected by visibility control commands.
