The command is also available in the contextual menu, which can be invoked by pressing over an empty space of the active WP.
Upon exiting this way, all 2D elements created on the workplane get saved, and then the system automatically creates a 3D Profile using the following elements:
•hatch outline;
•graphic lines created by the Sketch and Graphic Line commands;
•TrueType text.
To create several 3D profiles at once on the same workplane, you can use graphic lines or hatching of different colors.
If graphic lines of different colors are found on the workplane, upon exiting the mode of drawing on active WP, the system will suggest the user to create several 3D profiles - according to the number of colors used. If you agree, each of the created profiles will include lines of one specific color; otherwise a single profile will be created
Working in the active workplane mode, you can call commands for creating 3D operations. In this case, the system will finish drawing on the workplane and, if the operation requires the selection of a 3D profile and there is only a single contour on the WP, the 3D profile based on such contour will be automatically selected for creating the operation..
