Save, Update, Delete Database

In addition to commands described in other sections of the current chapter, the Database tab of the ribbon contains following command:

Save

The Save command in the Database ribbon tab allows you to copy the internal database to an external file of the *.accbd or *.dbf format. The base itself does not change, it remains internal. This option can also be applied to the database by reference, in this case the current internal version of the database will be copied to the external file.

Update

The Update command in the Database ribbon tab is used for referenced databases and allows you to force a update (from a file) of the contents of the database.

Delete

The command deletes the current database from the current document. If the database is referencing an external file, such file is not deleted.
