Modes of Assembly Structure Display

Предыдущая страницаВ началоСледующая страница

The assembly structure panel of the SWAssyStructure20x20 Assembly Structure window displays the assembly structure by default: that is, the number of parts and subassemblies (fragments in an assembly) and their nesting level.

An assembly structure may contain many executions of a fragment that has one source file that it references. For example, the assembly shown in the figure below consists of 14 fragments, and it took only 4 files to create it, including the file of the assembly itself (Holder.grb). The Link column displays the name of the file each fragment refers to.

The figure shows that all screws in the assembly refer to a single file Pan Head Cross Recess Screw ISO 7045.grb. You can display an assembly not by its structure, but by its links. I.e. show the number of source files and which fragments refer to these files. To do this, click the ProductStructure10 Group by Links button in the toolbar of the SWAssyStructure20x20 Assembly Structure window. In this mode the first level of the assembly structure shows the source files. Each file in the structure contains the list of links from fragments in the assembly to such file.

You can return the structure display by pressing the ProductStructure10 Group by Links button again.
