Example of Layout Usage

The examples library supplied with T-FLEX CAD contains the example of using layout for placing furniture in the room: Examples/3D Assemblies/Layout.

2D representations are created in document of fragments, as described in the Creating 2D Representation within Document of 3D Fragment section

In each fragment, a fixing vectors is created for 2D representation and linked to workplane

Such 2D representations were inserted into the assembly as 2D fragments, and then 3D fragments were inserted by 2D fragments using the Layout mode

In result, 2D and 3D fragments are linked to each other, which ensures synchronous movement of both 2D and 3D objects.
