OffsetCurve10

This section describes the parameters dialog of an existing offset curve. Differences in layout of the parameters dialog  called using the Parameters <P> option before curve's creation are described in the Offset Curve section. The dialog contains following parameters:

Offset
The option sets the distance from the base element to the offset curve. If an offset curve is snapped to a 2D node, then the offset value becomes zero and it cannot be edited. If an offset is defined via a graph, then this input box is inactive.

Value
This field displays the numerical value of the Offset, which may be useful, when offset is defined by a variable or an expression.

Graph
The graph of dependency between offset and length of a base element. See more in the Offset Curve section.

Corners handling
Shape of corners of the curve. See more in the Offset Curve section/

Loops cutting
If the checkbox is enabled, then loops formed on the contour of the offset curve are deleted.

Level
Places the offset curve at a certain level of visibility.

Layer
Places the offset curve at a certain layer.

Color
Upon enabling the checkbox, you can select the color to be used for displaying the current element. If the checkbox is disabled, the element is displayed in default color. Default color is defined in system options (Options > Colors > Common > Default Construction Color). Moreover, document parameters allow you to define a separate color of construction lines belonging to a particular page (Document Parameters > Page > Colors > Colors > Construction Line Color).

Line Style
In the drop-down lists you can choose one of the following options for displaying the curve:

oDefault

oSolid

oDash

oLong Dash

oDash Dot

Set as default
Enabling this checkbox means, the value of Level, Layer, Color and Line Style parameters set in this dialog will be used from now on for all new construction lines of any type.
