A pipe insert is an operation that modifies pipe for inserting other parts. In order to create an insert, use the following automenu option of the Pipe20x20 Pipeline, Wire/Cable, Air Pipe command:

Select operation for pipe insert

The option allows you to select a body (operation or 3D fragment) for the pipe insert. The type of resulting pipeline operation doesn't depend on the presence or absence of inserts.

Insert allows system to consider the pipeline as a singular object even if there are fittings that divide it into parts. It is necessary for further pipelines quantity and length correct calculation.

The list of selected insert bodies is displayed in Pipe inserts section of the Pipe20x20 Pipeline, Wire/Cable, Air Pipe command's parameters window.

In order to cancel the usage of an insert body, select it in the list and press the clip1373 button.

The selection of all source elements (trajectory, starting and ending points, inserts) can be cleared, using the following automenu option:
