This command sets a set of elements of the drawing and 3D-model that can be selected (similar to the filter toolbar), and also sets additional filter parameters.
After calling the command, the selector settings dialog will appear on the screen. here you can specify types of elements allowed for selection, save a configuration or customize the list of the nearest elements.
Pressing the OK button saves the defined settings and closes the command. The Cancel button closes the dialog box without saving changes.
Types of elements allowed for selection
The main field of this dialog, Select Elements of Types, contains the list of all system element types (2D and 3D). An element is allowed for selection, when working in 2D and 3D windows, if a checkbox of its type is enabled in the list. By default, elements of all types are allowed for selection. Click a checkbox, in order to enable or disable it. The buttons located to the right of the list allow to quickly [+] enable all checkboxes, [-] disable all checkboxes and [+/-] invert checkboxes configuration (simultaneously enable all the disabled ones and disable all the enabled ones).
Enabling/disabling checkboxes in the list is synchronized with enabling/disabling filters of elements type in the Filter toolbar.
Current configuration of checkboxes in the list can be saved as a named selector configuration. To do so, enable the Save as Configuration checkbox located below the list, and type the name for the new configuration into the adjacent input box or select a name of an existing configuration to be rewritten using the drop-down list. Then, you'll be able to quickly load a saved configuration using the Selector Configuration button, which is located in the Filter toolbar next to the button of the Selector command. The Selector Configuration button invokes a drop-down menu containing all saved configurations of the selector. Following configurations are available by default:
Upon selecting a configuration, the corresponding elements type filters get activated/deactivated.
