2D elements can be moved using following commands: MoveWithTranslation20x20 Move with Translation, MoveWithRotation20x20 Move with Rotation, MoveWithTranslationAndRotation20x20 Move with Translation and Rotation, MoveWithScale20x20 Move with Scale, MoveWithSymmetry20x20 Move with Symmetry.

When executing any move command, you can use various modes. The mode selection is done using clip0003 the automenu options, which contains drop-down list:

The selected elements are moved together with their parents and immediate children only.

clip0005 Change related elements

The selected elements are moved together with all related elements including parents and children at any level of dependency.

Only the selected elements are moved, isolated from parents and children.

In complex cases, when it is impossible to break a relation between the element and its parents and/or children, the following exceptions from this rule are possible:

If the selected object can't be separated from a parent, a copy of the parent is created, that moves together with the selected object. The original parent element is left unchanged;

If the selected object cannot be separated from a children, then the object is moved, while its copy is created in the original position to which the child is re-attached;

If the selected objects have a common parent construction entity that cannot be moved (such as a node or a construction line), and the parent does not have any other children that cannot be moved, then the parent is moved along.
