The Standard tab of the graphic line parameters dialog contains following parameters:
Line Style group of parameters:
•Type
The line type. The main drop-down list of this parameter contains line types defined in the tcad.lin file and line types based on custom line patterns.
The button located to the right of the main drop-down list invokes the additional list containing line types defined in the specline.def file.
•Scale factor
Defines the scaling of dashes length for dashed line types in relation to the dash length defined in the tcad.lin line type descriptor file. Does not affect display of non-dashed lines. Default value of this parameter is displayed in square brackets, which means, that it is inherited from page parameters (Document Parameters > Page > Lines > Line Style > Scale factor for dashed lines).
•Thickness
The thickness of the graphic line. Default value of this parameter is displayed in square brackets, which means, that it is inherited from page parameters: lines of the Continuous type inherit thickness from the Thick Lines parameter, lines of other types – from the Other Lines parameter (Document Parameters > Page > Lines > Lines).
•Waves
If the line type is set to Waves, the eponymous graphic button becomes available, which displays the Wave Parameters window. In the Parameters tool window this button is marked by the wave symbol .
oNumber of Periods
The number of waves on the full length of the line (the period length is calculated by the system automatically).
oPeriod Length
The length of a single wave in absolute units (the number of waves is calculated by the system automatically).
oWave Height
The wave height as a percentage of the period length.
Start Arrow and End Arrow groups of parameters:
•Type
Type of symbol to be displayed at line's starting or ending point. The drop-down list provides wide variety of symbol types.
•Size
Size of starting or ending symbol. For arrows, the size value corresponds to the arrow length in absolute units. Default value of this parameter is displayed in square brackets, which means, that it is inherited from page parameters (Document Parameters > Page > Lines > Line Style > Arrow (End) Size).
•
This button swaps the Start Arrow and End Arrow parameters.
Level
The visibility level of the line (see the Level section).
Layer
The layer the line belongs to (see the Layer section).
Priority
The line display priority (see the Priority section).
Color
The color of the line can be selected from the drop-down list, selected from the catalog, or specified via a numerical value, as described in the Color section.
Auxiliary line
If the checkbox is enabled, the line is auxiliary (see the Auxiliary Lines section).
Color for current page only
This checkbox is available, only if the dialog is called from a line creation command. When it is enabled, the specified color will not be used for all new lines in the document, but only for those lines that are created on the current page.
