Parameters dialog is available for Copy with Translation, Copy with Rotation, Copy with Translation and Rotation, Copy with Scale and Copy with Symmetry operations created in the associative mode. The dialog can be called from the contextual menu of the operation itself, or from the contextual menu of its resulting elements. Moreover, since detail views (by elements, with caption, by contour) are created using the same copying mechanics, the similar dialog can be called from the contextual menu of detail view's elements.
The layout of the dialog is the same for all mentioned operations, except Copy with Symmetry.
The Symmetric Text checkbox is the only parameter available for this operation. It is similar to the one displayed in the parameters window, when creating and editing the operation.
Copy with Translation, Copy with Rotation, Copy with Translation and Rotation, Copy with Scale, Detail Views
The dialog contains same Scale and Rotation Angle parameters, as shown in the parameters window of the Copy with Translation command. However, in the dialog this parameters are available for other listed commands as well. So, you can change scale and angle for operations, that do not provide such parameters during creation.
Changing the angle in copying operation's parameters dialog for detail views does not affect elements of the view, which are not copies (view label, clipping contour, break lines, user-added elements). In order to rotate the whole view, use the view's parameters dialog.
Following checkboxes are also available:
Model scale correction
This checkbox helps to achieve the correct size of copies, when copying within a single page, whose scale is not 1:1
If the checkbox is enabled, then the actual scale of copies is calculated via the following equation:
Resulting |
= |
Scale of operation |
Scale of page |
Consider page scales
This checkbox helps to achieve the correct size of copies, when copying between pages with different scales.
If the checkbox is enabled, then the actual scale of copies is calculated via the following equation:
Resulting scale |
= |
Scale of operation* Scale of target page |
Scale of source page |
