Top left side of the General Parameters tab of the Projection command's parameters window contains buttons of the 10 standard views:

These views coincide with standard view points of camera in 3D scene.
The position of view buttons in relation to each other in the parameters window depends on the standard selected in system options (Options > 3D > Projections > Position of projection views). When creating multiple standard views at once using the Three Standard Views or Standard Views commands, resulting projections are positioned in drawing in relation to each other in the same way, as their buttons in the parameters window.

By default, the ISO standard is used.
3D sections can be applied to standard views. Parameters and automenu options related to the applying 3D sections are described in the Parameters of Sections on 2D Projection chapter. Unlike the Section View type of projection, applying a 3D section to a standard view doesn't affect the direction of projecting.
